Introduction to Acton Central Ward

Acton Central Ward covers the heart of Acton High Street and most of the area either side of Horn Lane. The Conservative team have been working hard to improve the area and give Acton a sense of pride; they are particularly pleased to see the improvement in street cleaning and safety in the town centre. The Conservative team are out canvassing residents every month, and always welcome the opportunity to chat about local issues. Anyone who wants to canvass with them or to help with Acton Central newsletter deliveries is very welcome to join us.

Thomas Sweetman

Vlod Barchuk has lived in the Borough since 1990. He works as an accountant. Politics means Vlod does not spend enough time in the garden or dancing. Seema Kumar is married with four children and has lived in Ealing since 1981. She is passionate about helping older residents. She was Deputy Mayor of Ealing last year. Tom has lived in Ealing all his life and went to school here, so he's always been very involved in local issues. He runs his own IT business and is also a governor of Berrymede Infant School . As a sportsman himself he's particularly interested in the development of sporting facilities for young people, and he's keen to help continue all the improvements the Conservatives have already achieved for Acton Central.
